The former Erie Humane Society executive director, Nicole Leone, is set to enter a guilty plea next month.
According to court documents, Leon was scheduled to plead guilty on December 24, but that hearing has been moved to January 16.
Leone, who led the humane society for nearly a decade, was accused of stealing more than $30,000 from the non-profit.
Prosecutors said the alleged misuse of funds betrayed the trust of donors and volunteers who supported the shelter’s missions.
