A teen allegedly shot both of his parents, killing his mother, outside their Pennsylvania home the day after Christmas, according to authorities.

Jarrod Noll, 18, was nabbed in West Virginia on Saturday after authorities launched a massive manhunt with search dogs after the attack in the town of New Freeport on Friday afternoon, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Cops were called to the home, just north of the West Virginia border, and discovered Noll’s mother and father with gunshot wounds, police said.

Noll’s mother, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, cops said.

His father was taken to a hospital and has since been released in stable condition, authorities added.

The teen’s younger siblings were home when the shooting took place, though he allegedly fired the shots outside the home. The children are now in the custody of a relative, CBS News reported.

Following the fatal shooting, Noll fled the scene on foot and was not found after cops did an “extensive search” of the surrounding area, police said.

Cops then launched a full-out search for Noll, who was considered “armed and dangerous,” using helicopters and tracking dogs.

“We used tracking dogs, we used helicopters, and we used police on foot searching rough terrain,” Pennsylvania State Police Sergeant Richard Sizer said, per CBS News.

“Obviously, when you have someone on the run with a homicide warrant, on the run with a gun, it is a huge danger to the community,” Sizer added.

The teen was later located in West Virginia and taken into custody on Saturday “without incident,” police said in an update.
