Easton police are investigating shots fired into a home overnight.

City Police Lt. Matt Gerould said the gunfire happened at 4:15 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of Church Street. Investigators determined a home was struck by gunfire and police believe the residence was the intended target, Gerould said.

The suspect then fled the scene, heading north toward Seventh Street, Gerould said.

No suspects are in custody. There were no reported injuries.
