Kaylyn Jade Calhoun of Paris, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, near New Blaine, Arkansas, She was born on December 20, 2017, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to John Matt Calhoun and Katherine Jo Neumeier. She was 8 years old.

Kaylyn was a 2nd grade student at Scranton Elementary School in Scranton. “Additional obituary information will be posted soon.”

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3rd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Bro. Kenny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree Cemetery, located north of Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Neumeier of Paris; her father, John Calhoun of New Blaine; a sister and brother, Taylor Perriman and Hudson Calhoun of the home; her maternal grandparents, Debbie Roach of Paris and Leo Neumeier, Jr. and wife Marie of Center Ridge, Arkansas; her paternal grandparents, Crystal Thomas and husband Bob of Hartman and Johnny Calhoun and wife Kim of Southside, Alabama; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers are Layne Burges, Chris Stephens, Caden Turner, and Joe Cauldwell.

Honorary pallbearers are Travis Tebben, Jaylin Wright, Logan Turner, Blake Calhoun, and Kolton Hughes.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
