Federal courthouse vandalized in Allentown; suspect arrested at the scene

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) — A man was arrested after the federal courthouse in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was vandalized.

Deon Gardner, 33, was arrested at the scene on Tuesday night, the U.S. Marshals said.

Damage to the Edward N. Cahn federal courthouse included smashed front windows and doors.

Gardner was arrested by Allentown police on charges of institutional vandalism and criminal mischief.

Marshals say federal charges are also being considered.
