The Baltimore Ravens saw quarterback Lamar Jackson return to practice for the first time since suffering a ‘significant back contusion’ a week ago. While the Pittsburgh Steelers are preparing for both Jackson and his backup Snoop Huntley, this points in the direction of Jackson playing.

Jackson missed practice all of last week and did not play against the Green Bay Packers. Despite that, Derrick Henry ran for over 200 yards and led the Ravens to a 41-24 thrashing of the Packers on the road.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that Jackson’s status will be determined as they go further into the week, as he continues to battle a significant back contusion.

Harbaugh noted that despite not playing against the Packers, Jackson did make progress.

“It was not good at all early in the week, but it improved as the week went on. If Lamar is ready to go, he’s playing, for sure,” Harbaugh said.

Huntley has defeated the Packers and Chicago Bears in his two starts with the Ravens this year, which are two significant wins for the Ravens on their resume. That was behind an excellent rushing attack from Henry in both games.

The Steelers will have to be prepared for Henry more than anyone else after they scampered for over 200 rushing yards against Pittsburgh the first time they played.
