WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – A bicyclist is dead after being struck by a car in Whitehall Township.
It happened around 1:15 p.m. today in the area of MacArthur Road and Sutler Drive West.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office says the victim was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest where he later died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name, describing him only as an “adult male.” An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
There is no word at this time on the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
