READING, Pa. – The Reading Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is investigating an overnight shooting that left one man dead.
Police responded to the 200 block of Maple Street just before 1 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a shooting.
Arriving officers found 27-year-old Darius Francis suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Francis was transported to Reading Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
An SUV is towed from the crime scene in the 200 block of Maple Street.Â

Police say they have no information on the shooter(s) to release at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
