Firefighters responded to a home along Luzerne Street in Scranton after a fire caused severe damage inside the home.
SCRANTON, Pa. — Four people are without a home Saturday night after a fire in Lackawanna County.
Firefighters were called to a house along Luzerne Street in Scranton around 7:30 p.m.Â
According to Deputy Chief for the Scranton Fire Department, Dan Hallowich, there was severe damage on the second floor. They went to a second alarm out of caution for the buildings next to the home.
Thankfully, everyone got out safely.
“There’s minor damage to the house next door, but the fire building itself has some pretty significant damage,” said Deputy Chief Hallowich.
The cause of this house fire is under investigation here in Scranton.
