Pittsburgh police are investigating a stabbing in the city’s Lawrenceville neighborhood overnight. It happened in the 4000 block of Butler Street around 4:15 a.m. Police were called to the area for reports of an aggravated assault after a man walked into a local business on the block to call 911. The man suffered a small puncture wound to his ribcage. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. Police say the victim was largely uncooperative with them as to whee the incident actually took place. The investigation is ongoing.
