CINCINNATI (WXIX/Gray News) – A suspect is in custody after he allegedly damaged Vice President JD Vance’s home early Monday morning in Ohio.

The U.S. Secret Service called police at 12:15 a.m. after seeing someone “running eastbound,” a Cincinnati police dispatcher told WXIX.
According to a statement from the U.S. Secret Service, the suspect broke several of the home’s windows.
He was detained by Secret Service agents shortly after.
“The U.S. Secret Service is coordinating with the Cincinnati Police Department and the U.S. Attorney’s Office as charging decisions are reviewed,” the statement said.
Vance and his family are out of town and were not in the home when the incident occurred, according to the U.S. Secret Service.
