G.P. Harris Construction, Inc. President Greg Harris has been elected as the 2026 President of the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA).Â
According to a release, Harris will serve on PBA’s Board of Directors and will be responsible for overseeing the association’s activities on both state and national levels. As president, Harris will serve as the liaison to all coalitions and task forces on which PBA is a member. He previously served as vice president and secretary to PBA.Â
Harris is a member and past president of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg. He has Harris helped PBA initiate a strategic plan, develop a budget, and work with other Senior Officers and the Board of Directors. Harris is a member of the National Association of Home Builders. In June 2020, he was named the National Home Builders Association Remodeler of the Month.Â
Harris will be formally installed during the Annual Gala at the Hotel Hershey in March as part of the PBA Winter Board Meeting.Â
PBA was chartered in 1945 and is a nonprofit professional trade organization representing 4,000 members across Pennsylvania. PBA members and their employees include builders, remodelers, material suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, lending institutions, utilities, and others involved in the housing industry.Â
PBA serves its membership by providing leadership on state regulatory and legislative issues and by offering products and services to its 29 local associations and chapters, per the release. PBA serves Pennsylvania communities and consumers through its efforts to protect homeownership rights and advocate for affordable housing options. PBA is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders.
