Two of arguably the best cuisines in the world will be on offer when a new Mexican-Italian restaurant opens later this month in the Lehigh Valley.
Mariachi Mexican Grill & John’s Pizza will hold a grand opening Jan. 19 at 8016 Route 873 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, said John Garcia, who co-owns the restaurant alongside his wife Maria.
The restaurant website lists menu items like pizza, stromboli, sandwiches, tacos, chimichangas, quesadillas, burritos and nachos. Garcia added the property can seat about 120 people, including roughly 50 people inside a party room for private events.
Mariachi Mexican Grill & John’s Pizza, which will replace the former Lighthouse Grille, will operate 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The Garcias previously operated Villa Rosa & Mariachi Mexican Grill in North Whitehall Township.
