The Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Olympics are less than a month away and Erie’s Barb Ruscitto can’t wait.

She has been selected as a volunteer for the upcoming games.

Ruscitto will be leaving for the big assignment in two weeks.

Ruscitto will work five to seven hours a day, welcoming visitors to their venue.

This is not Barb’s first Olympic experience she worked as a volunteer for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

The Opening Ceremonies will take place on Friday February 6th on WICU.
