PENNSYLVANIA WERE BUSY THIS NEW YEAR’S HOLIDAY. NEW DATA SHOWS TROOPERS RESPONDED TO MORE THAN TWICE AS MANY CRASHES THIS YEAR COMPARED TO LAST YEAR. BUT KEEP IN MIND, LAST YEAR THAT WAS OVER A THREE DAY SPAN COMPARED TO FIVE THIS YEAR. SO FROM DECEMBER 30TH 1ST TO JANUARY 4TH OF THIS YEAR, TROOPERS INVESTIGATE NEARLY 2000 CRASHES, THREE OF THEM WHICH WERE DEADLY. IMPAIRED DRIVING, WAS IDENTIFIED AS A FACTOR IN 69 OF THEM, AND STATE POLICE ALSO ISSUED NEARLY 4500 SPEEDING CITATIONS. AN
