The Pitt football team received two commitments from former Western Carolina wide receiver Malik Knight and Pennsylvania offensive tackle Netinho Olivieri through the transfer portal. 

Knight, a redshirt junior at 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, was named to the 2025 Southern Conference second team after recording 47 catches for 774 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2024, he totaled 23 receptions for 392 yards and a score. He did not appear in a game during the 2023 campaign.
