Irene H. Kluemper (1933 – 2026)
Irene H. Kluemper, 92, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at Advanced Health Care of Hanover, Hanover Township. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Kluemper Sr., who died in June 1999. Born in Duryea, Pa., on June 23, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie (Schubelek) Krappa. Irene was employed as a secretary with the United States civil service before retiring. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, baking, attending Musikfest, dancing and especially appreciated sunsets and sunrises.
SURVIVORS
Irene is survived by her children: Edward Kluemper Jr. of Bethlehem Township, Bart J. Kluemper of Bethlehem and Beverly M. Kluemper of Tatamy; her sister: Lillian Sermanski of California; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son: Russell L. Kluemper, who died Sept. 3, 2022.
