Allentown and state police have warned residents to avoid a part of Airport Road due to an active situation Sunday.
The Allentown Police Department announced online the “active police incident” just before noon for the 1000 block of Airport Road, and promised to provide updates for the situation.
State police spokesperson Trooper Nathan Branosky posted online that Airport Road was closed between East Congress Street and Union Boulevard for the police activity.
