Stephon Jones of Allentown faces sex charges after sexually assaulting a minor in February.

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. — A man is facing sex charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor in Monroe County last year.

Police say Stephon Jones, 31, of Allentown, is accused of allegedly giving a 16-year-old girl hard liquor until she was unconscious and then sexually assaulting her on Valentine’s Day of last year at the Chateau Resort in Tannersville.

In April of 2025, an officer from Bushkill Township pulled over a vehicle driven by Jones and saw the minor in the passenger seat. An investigation revealed that Jones and the minor had been seeing each other since the summer of 2024, when she was 15.

Allentown Police arrested Jones on an active warrant. He was arraigned on multiple rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and related charges. 

He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 21 at 10:30 a.m.
