UPPER DARBY, Pa. (WKRC) – A woman allegedly ran over her boyfriend with her car on the sidewalk after an argument in the Taco Bell parking lot, leaving him with serious injuries. Police said he was “lucky to be alive.”

Authorities announced they were searching for 23-year-old Destenee Green in connection to a domestic violence incident on New Year’s Eve. Local outlet WPVI reported that the incident began in a Taco Bell parking lot.

After an argument between Green and her boyfriend, the man reportedly stepped out of the vehicle and started walking down the street.

“Green then drove her vehicle onto the sidewalk, travelling the wrong way, and struck the male from behind,” the announcement read. “The victim suffered injuries and is lucky to be alive.”

Police urged Green to turn herself in, and asked anybody who knows her to contact them on social media.

“This is another reminder of how dangerous domestic violence can be,” authorities wrote. “If you or someone you know is struggling in a domestic situation, please reach out to our Domestic Abuse Project for help. Take a moment, calm down, and walk away. Do not let emotions turn into violence. No one should live in a toxic or violent relationship. Help is available 24/7.”
