EASTON, Pa. – An Easton man is facing several charges, including making a terroristic threat, after a standoff with police.

Easton police say around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, they responded to the 300 block of West Saint Joseph’s Street for a domestic assault.

Police say when they attempted to arrest Sean West, he refused to come out.

West then barricaded himself inside and threatened officers with a handgun.

Police say that’s when a five-hour standoff took place.

Police eventually got into the home and found West hiding in the second-floor closet. West was taken into custody and will be arraigned Monday morning.
