Girl Scout cookies go on sale this month, and Lehigh Valley residents will have about two months to buy them.

Cookies go on sale Friday and will be sold through March 8, according to a news release from the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.

The following cookies will be available this season:

Adventurefuls
Exploremores (New flavor)
Lemonades
Trefoils
Thin Mints
Caramel deLites
Peanut Butter Patties
Peanut Butter Sandwich
Caramel Chocolate Chip (gluten-free)

All packages are $6 each except for the Caramel Chocolate Chip, which is $7.

The new cookie this season is the Exploremore, which is a rocky road ice cream-inspired cookie that has flavors of chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème, according to the release.

Those who want to buy cookies can use the online cookie finder at girlscouts.org/en/cookies.html to find booths.

The funds from the cookie sales the region and go to funding different experiences for the Girl Scouts, as well as programs, camps, properties and events around the year, according to the release.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania are also in Bucks, Berks, Montgomery, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
