If the Pittsburgh Steelers are able to knock off the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football, they will be heading to Foxborough to play the New England Patriots in a Week 3 rematch.

The Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 16-3 behind a ferocious defensive performance that saw Justin Herbert under siege from the Patriots front.

Pittsburgh would play on Sunday, though it is unknown if they would be the late afternoon slot or the night game. The Steelers would play on NBC if it is the night game and CBS if it would be the late afternoon slot.

The Patriots lost 21-14 in a Week 3 clash in Foxborough where they fumbled the ball four times, with the Steelers recovering all of those fumbles.

Aaron Rodgers and the offense got out to a quick start, hopping on the Patriots and taking a 14-0 lead before New England started to slice into the lead, eventually tying it up in the fourth quarter.

A go-ahead touchdown by Calvin Austin III gave the Steelers the 21-14 win after slowing down Drake Maye and the Patriots offense after the drive.

If the Steelers can get past a stingy Houston team, it will be a rematch that will require new tricks to be pulled out in both matchups.
