Mouse Island, located right off the coast of Catawba Island, is being sold for $5 million, according to realtor.com and Howard Hanna.

The island has 7 acres of wooded land and is zoned for private use, according to the real estate websites.

Mouse Island has quite a history. It was once owned by former President Rutherford B. Hayes, and the Hayes owned it for over 90 years. The family built a tennis court, cabins, docks and even developed running water on the island, according to Shores And Islands.

Due to eventual neglect, storms and more, the Hayes sold the property in 1966. It has since been privately owned.

Although there used to be amenities on the island, there’s no mention of them in the listings, which means it’s possible whoever owns the island next will need to do some developing.

While Mouse Island is known for its small size — hence its name — it’s not the smallest island in Lake Erie. Turtle Island, Starve Island and a handful of other tiny islands got Mouse Island beat.
