Leonard T. ‘Lennie’ Martinelli
OBITUARY
Leonard T. Lennie Martinelli, 61, of West Scranton died Sunday January 11, 2026 at the Geisinger C.M.C. His wife of 24 years is the former Rosanna Fiorillo.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Leonard and Shirley Harper Martinelli. A graduate of Lakeland High School he was employed by Kriger Pipeline.
Lennie was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan, loved his canine friend Chewy, and enjoyed keeping family traditions like making homemade soppressata and wine. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are daughter Gina Torquato; sisters Lisa Palmiter and husband Ronald, Shirlann Martinelli, and Ann Martinelli; brother William and wife Cheryl sister-in-law Elisa OHara and wife Nicole; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter Milinda Catalano and her husband Gus; brother Eugene Martinelli.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 pm in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton. Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday from 5 pm until time of service. Interment in Cathedral Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
