READING, Pa. – The City of Reading is reminding residents of upcoming closures and service interruptions for the holiday season.
City Hall will be closed Tuesday, December 24th, Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January 1st.
Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, the waste collection schedule will be adjusted. There will be no trash or recycling collection on Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January 1st.
All collections will be delayed by one day during these holiday weeks and Friday routes will be collected on Saturday for both holiday weeks.
Street sweeping will also be suspended on December 24th and 25th and January 1st.
The city encourages residents to plan accordingly.
