EASTON, Pa. — A new, full-service pharmacy will hold its grand opening this week in Northampton County.

Valley Health Partners (VHP) Community Pharmacy at South Side, at 440 W. Lincoln St. in Easton, will host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony in conjunction with the Easton Business Association at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, according to a news release.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 4:15 p.m., and the facility will remain open for guided tours until 5:30 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the pharmacy and health center, meet members of the pharmacy team and VHP colleagues, and receive assistance with scheduling appointments. Light refreshments will be provided by the Kellyn Foundation.

The new VHP Community Pharmacy at South Side “expands access to affordable, patient centered pharmacy services for residents of Easton and the surrounding region,” the release states.

As a full-service pharmacy, the facility offers prescription medications, direct pharmacist consultations, refill reminders, and support navigating medication affordability regardless of insurance status.

“Staff work closely with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues, ensuring patients receive the medications they need without delay,” the release states. “Because the pharmacy is located within the VHP at South Side health center, patients can conveniently pick up prescriptions immediately after their appointments.”

The pharmacy, which offers free home delivery and medication packaging services, is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Valley Health Partners selected Easton’s South Side based on extensive community needs assessments that identified gaps in healthcare access.

“The new location features multilingual staff and brings multiple services together under one roof, creating a welcoming and accessible environment for patients of all backgrounds,” the release continues. “This strategic placement reflects VHP’s commitment to meeting the community where it is and ensuring that high quality care is available to all.”
