Transit riders and community members are invited by the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority to provide feedback in a public survey aimed to assist in the ongoing Transit Development Plan (TDP).

The survey aims at receiving feedback on the current transit services and identify priorities of the system to improve over the next five years.

“Community feedback is essential to ensuring our transit system reflects the needs of the people who use it every day,” said Jeremy Peterson, Executive Director of EMTA. “We encourage riders and residents to take a few minutes to complete the survey and share their experiences and ideas.”

EMTA riders, occasional users, and individuals who plan to use the transit in the future all have access to the survey. Responses to the survey will be reviewed with technical analysis and stakeholder input following the Transit Development Plan progress.

The survey can be accessed online. For Fixed Route Service/Riders visit https://forms.office.com/r/dNpusYUXRg. For LIFT Service/Riders visit https://forms.office.com/r/XSG0V1k2NL.

Those who require paper copies or alternative formats can be made available upon request by contacting EMTA at emtamedia@ride-the-e.com or at (814) 459 – 8922 ext. 211.

The survey will be open to the community until Jan. 31 and additional opportunities for the public’s involvement will be announced at a later date.

The survey will remain open through January 31, 2026. Additional opportunities for

public involvement, including meetings, will be announced later in the planning process.
