Make-A-Wish Mother’s Day Truck Convoy announces new route for 2026 event

Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley announced the new route for the 37th Annual Mother’s Day Truck Convoy, taking place on Saturday, May 9, beginning at the Manheim Auto Auction in Lancaster County.Route and time of convoy The convoy will leave at 1:30 p.m., and the route has been updated to ensure safety for participants and the community while minimizing the impact on drivers.The convoy will still depart from Manheim Pennsylvania Auto Auction as in previous years, entering Route 283 West at Mount Joy Road.Trucks will then travel in the right lane with their hazards on at a reduced speed, allowing other vehicles to safely enter and exit the highway.Trucks will exit at Toll House Road, take a left, and then re-enter 283 East, continuing to the Esbenshade Road exit.Only drivers with wish kids on board will return to the Manheim Auto Auction. “We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated Route Committee for coming together to plan this new route, and we thank the participating townships and PennDOT for their support,” said Jennifer Davis, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley.”This updated route ensures the safety of our participants and the community while minimizing the impact on the motoring public, allowing everyone to enjoy the spirit of the Truck Convoy while supporting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses,” she added.
