Daniel Bickley Named General Manager of the
Courtyard by Marriott in Bensalem, Pennsylvania
Bensalem, PA – March 1, 2002 – Crown American Hotels of Johnstown,
PA is pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Bickley has been named the new
General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott located just two miles off
the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Bickley is responsible for the efficient
and overall operation of the 167-room, full-service hotel. Other
responsibilities include controlling costs in order to attain projected
revenues and achieving budgeted profits. Mr. Bickley reports to Ms.
Diana Jaggers, Director of Operations at Crown American Hotels.

experience having worked in the hospitality industry for more than fifteen
years. Most recently, Mr. Bickley was the General Manager and
Director of Food & Beverage for the Marriott Courtyard in Charlottesville,
Virginia. In this position, he managed and directed all aspects of
the hotel and food and beverage operations. Previously, he was General
Manager and Food & Beverage Director for the Comfort Inn & Suites
in Alexandria, VA and in Arlington, VA.
Mr. Bickley is a graduate of Liberty Baptist College where he earned
a bachelors degree in Business Administration. Mr. Bickley
is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and has been an active member
of the Washington, DC Convention & Visitors Bureau, Springfield Chamber
of Commerce and Alexandria Hotel Association. Mr. Bickley assumed
his new position effective March 1, 2002 and plans to move to the Bensalem
area and become an active member of the community.
