Saint Joseph’s Center needs winter clothing for children. They are holding a clothing drive on MLK Day.

DUNMORE, Pa. — A nonprofit in Lackawanna County is encouraging people to give back on a day the usually have off from work and school.

Saint Joseph’s Center is holding its annual Winter Children’s Clothing Drive on January 19, which is MLK Day.  People are asked to drop off new or gently used baby and children’s clothing at the Baby and Children’s Pantry at 320 South Blakely Street in Dunmore.

This drive is to help replenish the shelves with new items that the pantry needs most this time of year. Volunteers say the pantry serves around 300 families each month, which is around 600-700 kids.

The Winter Children’s Clothing Drive is from 9am-3pm.Â
