JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – A key scoring stretch to open the second half sparked the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College men’s basketball team to a 95-74 victory over the Community College of Beaver County Wednesday night, giving the Black Bears their second win over the Titans this season.
After the two teams were tied at 46-all at the break, the Black Bears began the second frame on an 18-2 run and never looked back. Six different players scored during the stretch to give Penn Highlands a 64-48 lead.
