Weather warnings were in effect for parts of western Pennsylvania as “brief but heavy” snow showers moved eastward on Thursday, January 15.
The National Weather Service (NWS) said the region could expect “modest accumulations” with more in some areas in northwestern Pennsylvania “and higher terrain.”
