PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A raging fire destroyed the Bella Vista Restaurant and Nightclub in Philadelphia’s Juniata Park section.
The blaze broke out around 3:45 a.m. on Friday on the 4200 block of Whitaker Avenue.
Flames could be seen shooting through the roof before most of the restaurant burned to the ground.

Firefighters continued to battle the blaze more than two hours after it began.
The Bella Vista restaurant is also a nightclub and stays open late until 2:30 a.m.
So far, there are no reports of any injuries and no word if anyone was still inside when the fire started.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
