Sean Lafferty, Mike Fenner win 2025 Best of Erie awards

(WJET/WFXP) – Two familiar faces at JET 24 have been deemed the best in Erie!

Evening anchor Sean Lafferty and sports anchor Mike Fenner were among dozens of winners for the 2025 Best of Erie awards, hosted by the Erie Reader.

The winners, published on January 15, named Lafferty as the Best TV Anchorperson award, while Fenner won the Best Local Sportscaster award.

In years past, JET 24 has brought home Best of Erie awards such as Best TV Personality,

The Erie Reader has been hosting the Best of Erie awards since 2013, and has awarded dozens of local businesses, hotspots and citizens since its inception.
