In this year’s upcoming elections, Erie voters can expect to see a new design on the well-known “I voted” stickers.

Local high school students have submitted their artwork and now it’s up to the community to choose the winner.

The chosen sticker design will be seen all across Erie County in both the May primary and the December general election.

Voting is open now through February 5. The winning design will be announced on February 10.

“We’ve really been working with our schools over the past couple of years to get students more engaged in the voting process and maybe not feel so intimidated when they go to vote their first time,” said Tonia Fernandez, Erie County director of elections.
