ALLENTOWN, PA. – The Phantoms opened the 2026 portion of their schedule on the road with three wins in four games. Lehigh Valley on home ice for the first time in the New Year against last-place Bridgeport Friday night.

With under a minute and a half left in the first, Bridgeport up 1-0, on the power play they work it to Matthew Maggio. His shot is stopped, but Liam Foudy is there on the doorstep and puts it past Carson Bjarnason for his 9th of the season. Islanders up 2-0.

Late in the second, the Islanders work it up to Ethan Bear. He fires the wrister past Bjarnason top shelf, his first of the season. Bridgeport up, 3-0.

Phantoms get one back ate in the third with the extra skater. Oliver Bonk lights the lamp for his second of the year.

The Phantoms avoid the shutout, but fall, 3-1.
