Two adults and one 17 year old were arrested for strong armed robbery when they allegedly used physical force to rob a delivery driver that was dropping off specific medication to the Smart Choice Pharmacy, located on Street Road in Bensalem. According to Bensalem Police, the theft took place on January 15, 2026. Police said the drugs taken were Mounjaro, Ozempic, and Trulicity, valued at approximately $16,000.

The suspects, 41-year-old Joshua Dupree from Tamaqua, PA, 21-year-old Jahnoi Dawkins from Albany, NY, and a 17-year-old male from New York City, allegedly made calls and sent emails to the pharmacy that inquired about specific information concerning the delivery of the medicine.

After the trio assaulted and stole the medicine, they ran into a gold-colored Toyota . They almost hit a witness who saw the theft and was recording it. The car was spotted on the 3600 block of Street Road and it was stopped. The trio were identified and they were arrested.

Dupree, Dawkins, and the juvenile male were all charged with Robbery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Simple Assault, and related offenses. Dupree and Dawkins were arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael Gallagher, who set Dupree’s bail at 10 percent of $150,000 and Dawkins’ bail at 10 percent of $250,000. Both were remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. The juvenile male was remanded to Bucks County Youth Detention Center.

Investigation revealed that the trio traveled from New York City to comitt this crime in Bensalem.
