40 customers affected by Scranton water main break

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Approximately 40 customers were affected by an early Saturday morning water main break on North Main Avenue, officials say.

According to the Manager of External Affairs for PA American Water, Alana Roberts, the break was on an 8-inch water main on the 1400 block of North Main Avenue.

PennDOT reduces roadway speeds for winter weather

Roberts said approximately 40 customers were affected and restoration should be completed by 9:00 p.m.
