AVOCA BOROUGH, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — Emergency crews responded to a working structure fire in Avoca on Tuesday morning.
Fire units were dispatched around 10:14 a.m. to the 600 block of McAlpine Street in Luzerne County. Multiple companies were called to the scene after reports confirmed an active structure fire.
Officials have not yet released information on the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured. Firefighters worked to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties.
