I-78 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, was closed in both directions after a crash involving 12 vehicles, according to state police.
Police said the crash happened around 7:51 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, near Greenwich Township.
Four commercial vehicles and eight passenger vehicles were involved in this incident, police said. Emergency crews were on scene working to extract people.
