BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Basketball teams from six states converge on Bethlehem Catholic High School for the G.O.A.T. basketball showcase over MLK weekend.
The host Golden Hawks taking on Cristo Rey out of Philadelphia on Saturday. In the first quarter, Becahi’s Aliyah Brame with the long pass to Kendall Nickischer in the corner. Nickischer sinks the three – part of her 9 points – and the hosts are up 14-12 after eight minutes.
Brooklyn Lewis with the steal and save in the second quarter as Nickischer gets it and feeds Leah Ault for the layup. Ault would finish with a dozen points. Bethlehem Catholic starting to put some distance between themselves and Cristo Rey and lead 31-19 at the break.
Brame with the steal and the layup in the third quarter, she finishes with 11 points and the Golden Hawks cruise, 61-37.
