Robert ‘Bob’ Alunni
OBITUARY
Robert Bob Alunni, 81, of Sandwich, Mass. formerly of Jessup, died December 18th, 2025. His wife of 61 years is the former Mary Ann Susnosky. Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late Leno and Josephine (Tetto) Alunni.
After graduating from Jessup High School in 1962, he relocated & attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Bob enjoyed a fulfilling 28 year career at AT&T, becoming Director of Global Meetings International, a position which took him to many unique and beautiful places around the world, Hawaii being a favorite.
Bob enjoyed swimming, hiking, cycling and especially spending time with his dog Brandy. He and his family loved summer trips to Cape Cod and eventually he retired there.
Bob also enjoyed the many holiday visits and backyard Jessup gatherings with family and neighbors for polenta on the board, clambakes, crab fests and halloweening at Library Pizza.
Also surviving are his daughter Jill Scordato (New Jersey); grandchildren Jacob & Brianna Scordato; brother Al Alunni (Sandy); sisters Debbie Alunni (Jeff) & Bonnie Urzen (Bill); sisters-in-law Rose Marie Bonomo & Patty Susnosky, and many nephews and cousins.
More recently, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Bob was a caring man with an infectious laugh who loved sharing good times with all and who will be missed by many.
