Monday is Martin Luther King Jr day, a time to honor the late civil rights activist.
But celebrations got underway early with the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards dinner at the Ambassador.
This comes just months after the passing of Executive Director, James Sherrod.
The annual march is also set for Monday starting at 11:00 in Perry Square.
