(WHTM) — A lottery ticket awarding the top prize of $500,000 every year for life was sold in Pennsylvania.

The PA Lottery announced that a player was awarded a top prize on the Lottery’s $500,000 a Year for Life Scratch-Off, a $20 game where players can win top prizes of $500,000 per year for life, or a cash option of $7.25 million.

The lottery states that the winning ticket was sold at an Exxon station located at 500 Church Street in White Haven Borough, Luzerne County. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

According to the PA Lottery, scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-of-sale date, and winners should immediately sign the back of their tickets and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
