BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The inaugural Restaurant Days at Hotel B event aims to lift the winter blues with rotating, prix-fixe meals at a Lehigh Valley landmark.

On Sunday, Historic Hotel Bethlehem launched the three-week event, which features limited-edition, three-course menus.

“After the holiday festivities, winter can seem dreary,” executive chef Rodney Rivera said.

“We wanted to give guests something cheery to look forward to during this season.”

The hotel, at 437 Main St. in downtown Bethlehem, is offering a special new prix fixe menu every week from January 18 through February 7.

New menus will be revealed on Historic Hotel Bethlehem’s social media accounts each Sunday.

The first menu, $49 per person, features your choice of frisée salad with red cabbage, candied walnuts, honeycrisp apples and sherry vinaigrette or a roasted cauliflower and red cabbage salad with golden raisins and roasted garlic tahini cream.

For the main course, diners can select between grilled flat iron steak au poivre or jumbo shrimp rigatoni.

For dessert, choose a lemon meringue tart or chocolate truffle torte.

Every guest who attends Restaurant Days is entered into a drawing for a weekend getaway in March.

The getaway includes two nights in a Hotel Bethlehem suite, breakfast for two, two tickets to the Old Bethlehem Walking Tour and a private hotel history tour.

“In winter, it’s always nice to have something fun to look forward to,” said Kelly Ronalds, the hotel’s director of room sales and guest experience.

“That’s why the team has loved putting together this event. There are three weeks of delicious meals and a possible weekend getaway in the end. It’s a lot of fun.”

Historic Hotel Bethlehem, located adjacent to the newest US UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of Historic Moravian Bethlehem, is celebrating over 100 years as a community hotel.
