HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. — A Hancock County man has been charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault and one count of battery.
The investigation began in early December 2025 after the incident was reported to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon learning of the investigation, 20-year-old Caleb D. Blake fled the area and was arrested in Pottsville, Pa., by the Pottsville Police Department.
He was held at Schuylkill County Prison before being extradited back to West Virginia by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
Blake is housed in the Northern Regional Jail.
