The calendar has flipped to 2026, but Lancaster-Lebanon League field hockey players are still reaping the rewards for their 2025 performances.
MAX Field Hockey released its 2025 Pennsylvania All-Region teams Tuesday, and six L-L talents were recognized. Three athletes landed first-team laurels while three earned second-team honors.
Penn Manor accounted for half of the local outfit with Morgan Hook scoring first-team recognition, and Chloe Hook and Kelby Dings fitting the second-team mold. Manheim Township’s Julia Weaver and Warwick’s Karys Craver joined Morgan Hook on the first team. Hempfield’s Talia Leber was a second-team honoree.
Morgan Hook amassed 23 assists and 19 goals in the fall while twin sister Chloe had 31 scores and 17 assists. Dings was the Comets’ most prolific scorer, recording 38 goals and 16 assists. Penn Manor stormed to L-L and District Three Class 3A titles and advanced to the PIAA semifinal round.
Weaver was the stabilizer for a Township unit that reached the District Three Class 3A quarterfinals and qualified for the state tournament. As the backbone of the Blue Streaks’ defense and midfield, the Temple pledge netted 10 goals while assisting nine times. Weaver, along with the Hooks, were named NFHCA All-Region second-team selections in November.
Craver, an Ohio State commit, departs as one of the L-L’s storied talents. In her swan song, she produced 34 goals and distributed 20 assists. While Warwick fell in the league final for the third straight season, the NFHCA All-Region second-team pick also helped her group to District Three and PIAA Class 2A silver.
Leber was the sparkplug for a Hempfield assembly that broke program barriers, advancing to its first PIAA dance since 2012. The Maryland pledge unloaded on 23 goals this fall while supplying 15 assists. Leber, too, was highlighted by the NFHCA as a second-team awardee.
Dings, Weaver and Leber will return to the scholastic pitch next season. The Hooks will join Craver on college grounds at Appalachian State.
