Todd Snider, Billy Joel and Elton John tributes
If music is more your thing, there are two tribute shows to legendary artists this week.
First up is Face 2 Face, the first and longest-running tribute to Billy Joel and Elton John. Featuring Mike Santoro, Ronnie Smith and some of the most sought-after musicians in the business, the show features hits from both artists, both solo and together.
Two shows are scheduled at Musikfest Cafe, on Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, various artists will take the stage at Godfrey Daniels honor the life and songs of Todd Snider, a writer whose humor, honesty and sharp storytelling left a lasting mark on Americana music. Following his passing in November 2025, this benefit brings musicians to the stage to share Snider’s songs and personal reflections on how his work shaped their own musical paths. Proceeds from the show benefit Godfrey Daniels.
If you go: Face 2 Face at Musikfest Cafe, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Ticket prices vary; artsquest.org/event/face-2-face-a-tribute-to-billy-joel-and-elton-john/; Todd Snider tribute at Godfrey Daniels, 7 p.m. Sunday. events.humanitix.com/todd-snider-tribute-january-25-2026
