JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Two ordinances to approve private club permits for Jonesboro restaurants passed their first reading at Tuesday night’s Jonesboro City Council meeting.
The ordinances to give Monarca’s Mexican Restaurant and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreax private club permits will move to their second reading at the next Jonesboro City Council meeting.
Private club permits allow restaurants to sell and serve alcohol.
The Jonesboro City Council also authorized an agreement with Axon Group Inc. to provide body cameras, vehicle cameras, and Tasers for city departments.
